Review NC1 before it becomes a job.
Read marks, quantities, lengths and punching from supported NC1 / DSTV files. Inspect interpreted headers, hole locations and import issues before accepting the parts.
READYTOROLL / PURLIN DETAILING SOFTWARE
Complex punching needs more than a part list. ReadyToRoll brings NC1 import, web and flange detailing, visual checks and bundle planning into one working job.
For compatible mills, configured machine interfaces carry those details through to punch preparation and production instructions.

01 / THE DETAILING WORKSPACE
Work from a supported NC1 file or detail a part directly. Keep the product, quantity and punching together as the job moves through review, corrections and preparation.
Read marks, quantities, lengths and punching from supported NC1 / DSTV files. Inspect interpreted headers, hole locations and import issues before accepting the parts.
Match drafting descriptions to manufacturing products and reuse saved assignments. Keep section dimensions, weights and punching pairs in your product catalogue.
Prepare web and flange holes, off-centre positions, paired holes and repeat patterns on configured Cee and Zed products. Combine imported geometry with direct edits.
Reuse named punching patterns. Repeat, mirror or flip existing details for recurring connections and opposite-hand parts, with product settings kept in view.
Inspect hole positions alongside fold lines and dimensions. Review supported round holes and slots, then make corrections to individual parts or selected job data.
Track detailed, outstanding and unpunched lines. Save the job with its customer references and bundle allocations, and review metre totals by item code.
02 / COMPLEX PUNCHING
Web pairs, flange holes, cleats and laps carry different meaning in a purlin detail. That meaning needs to survive the trip from drawing to flat strip to mill instructions.
ReadyToRoll lets you inspect supported punching arrangements in the context of the selected product. Reusable pairs and patterns help with repeat work; explicit positions give you control over the exceptions.
For compatible installations, machine processing identifies web and flange pairs and recognises supported leading and trailing lap arrangements.
This example uses the 35, 635 and 1,235 mm stations shown in the 3D model. Actual details depend on the drawing, product and tooling.
Ten holes across three stations. The web has two rows at 25% of its height either side of the centre. Each outer station also has a hole in each flange.

03 / BUNDLE PLANNING
Keep allocations connected to part marks and quantities. Review what has been packed and what remains, then save the plan with the detailing work.
Create named bundles and place quantities where you need them. Inspect contents and adjust the allocation as handling requirements change.
Create numbered bundles using weight, piece count and optional matching item codes. Review warnings and adjust the proposed allocations.
Import a Pack, Mark and Qty worksheet to allocate parts against a prepared packing plan. Review messages and decide how to handle remaining quantities.
Review configured stacker checks for weight, pieces, section compatibility and length spread. Save a bundled job or separate ReadyToRoll files for selected bundles.
04 / MACHINE PREPARATION
Dynamic purlin mill optimisation starts with the hole layout and the equipment available to make it. For supported installations, ReadyToRoll builds punching pairs, recognises applicable lap details and assigns punches using rules for the selected mill.
Machine-specific spacing and sequencing rules help organise the program. Static mill preparation is also available for compatible configurations, within the equipment’s supported punching limits.
We establish the required interface with you, including the controller, tooling, product data and representative jobs. Data exchange with other site systems can be included in that scope.
Machine output requires the appropriate site implementation. The functions available depend on your mill and tooling; performance needs to be assessed on your installation.
READYTOROLL / PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
ReadyToRoll is Windows software for purlin detailing, complex punching preparation and bundle planning. It brings compatible NC1 / DSTV data, manual detailing and visual review into a common job, with configured output for supported rollforming equipment.
ReadyToRoll imports supported NC1 / DSTV files. Compatibility depends on the exporter and the information it includes. We check representative files with you, including how marks, product descriptions, holes and slots are represented.
It means preparing punching pairs and assignments using rules for the selected machine. Supported configurations can recognise lap details and organise punch sequencing around hole spacing. It does not mean structural design, cutting-stock nesting or automatic control of machine speed.
The controller, punch arrangement and tooling determine the required interface. Ti4 confirms the supported functions for your installation using the machine details and sample work. Machine output is configured as part of that implementation.
Yes. ReadyToRoll can read bundle instructions from a worksheet using Pack, Mark and Qty columns. You can also allocate quantities manually or generate bundles using weight, piece and product rules, then review the results.
No. ReadyToRoll checks configured aspects of detailing and punching data. Structural design, engineering approval and final confirmation of manufacturability remain separate responsibilities.
Tell us about your purlins, drafting files and mill. We will work through the detailing, punching and output requirements with you.
